Michael was called to the Bar of British Columbia in May 2007 and practices in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Law and Personal Injury. Michael joined the firm in March 2009. Michael’s practice includes all family law matters, including those relating to divorce, child custody and access, property division and drafting separation agreements. His litigation experience has included appearances in both the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia. He has obtained orders of child support and spousal support in favor of clients and has been successful on applications for child custody and access. In addition, he has also negotiated settlements for clients through the use of mediation and other forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution. Michael has also successfully represented clients with bail hearings, sentencing, and trials concerning Criminal matters.

Personal Interests:
Michael has been an advocate in his community for the last 10 years and has assisted abused women and children as well as the homeless in the downtown eastside of Vancouver. He has assisted youth as a volunteer with the John Howard Society as they appeared before the courts with criminal matters and has assisted them with difficult family circumstances. Michael participates in soccer, football and hockey and is currently the coach of a special needs youth soccer team in Vancouver.
