Mr. Michalski obtained his law degree from the University of British Columbia in 1967, and he was called to the bar of British Columbia in 1968. He has practiced to the present time primarily as a trial lawyer but also has extensive experience as a solicitor. Accordingly, John Michalski has 41 years of experience. John Michalski’s trial experience includes significant experience with personal injury files, estate litigation, family law litigation as well as criminal litigation including that of ad hoc Crown Counsel. Mr. Michalski has conducted hundreds of trials over the course of his career.
Mr. Michalski has primarily practiced in the Supreme Court of British Columbia, but he has extensive appellate experience as well.
Mr. Michalski joined this firm in early 2009. In addition to conducting his own files, John mentors the younger members of this firm. Previous to joining this firm, John was associated or a partner in two previous firms. John has had carriage of several hundreds of personal injury files over the years. John has conducted innumerable discoveries and prides himself on his knowledge of the Rules of Court.
