Emily Raven B.Com. (Hons) J.D.

Emily was called to the bar in 2018 and has a Juris Doctor Degree from Thompson Rivers University (TRU) located in Kamloops, British Columbia. Prior to obtaining her law degree, Emily obtained her Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from the University of British Columbia. While at law school, Emily was heavily involved with the Student Law Society at TRU and various clubs. She also worked in TRU’s Community Legal Clinic and provided free legal services to the Kamloops community. Emily is passionate about access to justice, human rights and family law.

Prior to becoming an associate at Quay Law Centre, Emily completed her articles with the firm and was a summer student between her first and second year and second and third year of law school. During this time, Emily gained extensive experience in disputes involving custody, guardianship, child support, spousal support and complex property division. Her experience and approachable attitude assist her in providing clients excellent legal services.
